There's An App For that
The first app is Duo-lingo. This app allows students to take fun and interactive course in Spanish.
The second app is Dragon Dictation. This app allows students to talk into their device and produce text from their speech. Dragon can pick up on many languages and is very effective for pronunciation of Spanish words.
The third app is Mirai Spanish. This app, like Duo-lingo, allows students to take courses, but on a much easier and beginner level. This app walks you through lessons with dialogue and pictures.
The fourth app is Tap & Say. This app allows one to choose a language they would like to learn. Once a language is chosen then they can choose through a list of word they would like to hear and then they can say the word back to the device so they learn the words that they are hearing and pronounce them correctly.
The fifth and final app is Rosetta Stone. This app also allows one to choose any language that they would like to learn. Once done, they move onto lessons very similar to Duo-lingo, but with faster and more advanced lessons.

Google Classroom question feature through Screencastify
Today I will be showing you a Google Classroom feature through Screencastify. Screencastify is a Google Chrome extension that allows one to record a video of their screen with audio. Screencastyify is very easy simple and easy to use. To get Screencastify, you download the extension through Google Chrome and a small movie clip extension will be added to the right of your URL bar. Once you have downloaded the extension, click on the movie clip symbol, create an account, and you can begin recording screencasts!
In Google Classroom I will be demonstrating how to post a question to Classroom from a teacher’s perspective. To create a question on Google Classroom, you click the “+” button in the bottom right corner of your page. This will bring up a tab with four options. You simply click “Create Question” and add your question, and name it.
I find the “Create Question" feature handy and useful because gives teachers a quick and easy way to view and grade students answers in one place, see who has and has not answered, and also decide if students can view & reply to other students responses.

Once Calendar is open it will bring you to a schedule view, where you view each day, month by month. This view can be changed by clicking the three lined in the top left corner.
After clicking the three lined icon, a tab will slide out as shown by the pic to the right. This tab will show the available layouts to choose from for your calendar, such as day, 3 day or week view. The layout that I recommend for teachers and students would be the day view. The day view lays out your day hour by hour. It shows you assignments due that day and helps you stay organized and on task.

To create a new event you simply click the red circle with a plus icon in the bottom right corner of the prior picture. Once you have clicked it the screen to the right will be shown. In this view you can title your event, time your event or delete the event. To save the event you click SAVE in the top right corner.
Once saved, if you click on the event again, it will bring you to this screen. In this screen you can edit your event by clicking the blue icon with a pencil in it. After clicking that you will be brought back to the prior screen.
