My Finished Independent Learning Endeavor
The final product of my ILE is a recovered HP that I have brought back to use after it being corrupted by malware. When ones computer is corrupted by malware or something that they have downloaded onto their computer, takes over then they may have to do a recovery. This is when the computer is reset to a previous date in time which turns the computers data and memory back to that set date.
For the first step of a recovery, one will open the start menu and go to the control panel. Once in the control panel it will be as shown.
In the control panel, the operator should click
Recovery. After this is done the Recovery page will be opened. It will display a button that reads "Open System Restore". Click on it.

My Independent Learning Endeavor
For the Burlington Help Desk Midterm, or Independent Learning Endeavor, I chose to recover computer that has been corrupted by malware. I will be restoring a HP with some guidance from my father. My father is a computer technician, who builds and repairs computers for a living. During this process I will document my work by taking pictures of each step and give a description for each picture. I chose to recover a computer because I find it fascinating, and computers are apart of our everyday lives. My timeline for my ILE is mapped out over one week. I would begin the project over the weekend and finish it by the end of the work week. As a result of my ILE I would like to learn how to construct and reconstruct a computer. I hope to learn the hardware and also the software required to build a computer. By building this computer with my father my knowledge and skill in the field of technology will be expanded. This is so because after the computer is done I will know the insides and the outsides of a computer, If I was to ever make another.
